“BB Good”, the first track on A Little Bit Longer from the Jonas Brothers, as described on the album’s iTunes Music Store page, “sets an upbeat tone that’s carried through the whole album”. A Little Bit Longer is one of those rare albums where almost every track is worth a listen–unlike other recent albums from Metro Station, Madonna, and Miley Cyrus. And the song “BB Good” is no exception.
As the iTunes Music Store says, the song is upbeat and fairly representative of the album as a whole. Like many of the other songs on the album, “BB Good” is a song about a girl.
An interesting piece of the song to point out: the ending. The tune switches to something similar to that of “Lovebug”. Definitely an interesting ending to the song, particularly the words: “Listen girl, you’re out of control. I think you and me would be a great cup-[pause]-ple. Yeah.” I don’t know if the ending is meant to be funny, but the lines remind me of something a slightly immature high school or college guy might say.
