Selena Gomez has a new YouTube video! Not particularly exciting, but it’s a sweet happy birthday wish and, once again, I’m in love with Selena’s personality–or maybe it’s just her laugh. Either way, it’s a nice video, and gives me a bit of news to report!
I was unaware until just moments ago, but today is Demi Lovato’s birthday! Even though she will never read the away message or Facebook status of many of her tween fans, I’m nevertheless sure we will all see a lot of Happy birthday Demi today plastered all over AIM and Facebook. I suppose that is a good thing. It is always nice to see pop figures beloved, especially when they are still in their wholesome phase.
Speaking of wholesome, has anyone seen the latest pictures of Britney? She looks almost presentable, nothing like the female that showed up to MTV’s Video Music Awards trashed and unable to perform last year. Kudos to Britney! I’m looking forward to Britney’s new album, which she told OK! Magazine should be released in six to nine months. Until then, perhaps Spears will get some song reviews here on Poptastique–Blackout is an excellent album and some of the best it has to offer were never released as singles.
